Hello~~ This is JIRO!
It’s been such a long time since our last post, but we’re back with some exciting news—JIRO is returning! !
Let’s jump right in!
To. Our Readers
JIRO is back!!
From. JIRO
JIRO is back in business! (26.08.14~)
Hello~~ This is JIRO!
After taking about a month
to reorganize and recharge,
JIRO is ready to make a comeback!!
Thank you for waiting for us! ^^
The reason JIRO took a break to reorganize was to ask ourselves:
'Were the topics of JIRO’s content becoming too predictable?'
'Were we trying to cover too much without a clear goal or direction?'
'Were we simply creating content mechanically, following the same familiar format?'
We took this time to reorganize and find the answers to these questions.
In its early days, JIRO began as a..
“consulting partner that unlocks the hidden potential of local communities,” visiting local festivals and suggesting ways they could be improved.
In the middle and later stages of JIRO,
we gradually shifted our focus toward explaining local stories and news.
During the reorganization period..
we reflected on
'what direction would suit JIRO best',
'what our strengths are',
and 'how we could make the most of those strengths in our work.'
Passionate about data!!
Love the humanities!!
Content translated into English and Japanese!!
We’ll be back with “data-driven,
multilingual local humanities content” !
① From local field trips → Understanding with data
Previously, we focused on visiting local areas, exploring festivals, and experiencing and learning from them firsthand.
Going forward, we’ll also use data to reinterpret local areas from JIRO’s perspective, adding a humanities-based approach to better understand and introduce each place in greater depth.
② From introducing places → Interpreting local stories
Rather than simply introducing tourist attractions and festivals,
we’ll explore the stories of each place through the lens of
the humanities, including history, literature, and culture.
We’ll continue to work hard and do our very best as JIRO~~!
We look forward to your continued support!
